Our Story
Hi Novies,
I’m Chau, the founder and owner of Nov Patisserie. How has your day been? Whatever challenges or joys you’ve faced, I hope you, my dear Novies, will always find the strength to keep moving forward.
I feel incredibly happy and lucky to meet all of you through this little bakery called Nov. My baking journey began back in 2017 with just a mixing bowl and a whisk. At the time, I stumbled upon a crepe-making tutorial by Truc’s Hobbies. I thought, “This looks fun!” and decided to give it a try. Before I knew it, I was hooked. Baking became a passion, and from that first crepe, I found myself experimenting with countless types of baked goods—from breads and puff pastries to desserts and cookies, and everything in between.
By the time I was in high school, baking had become more than just a hobby; it turned into a bridge that connected me with people who are now some of my closest friends. Through baking, I discovered something profound—it wasn’t just a pastime, but an essential part of who I am.
When I bake, I don’t need to be anyone else; I can simply enjoy all the moments in the kitchen. For me, baking has always been a way to connect with the world around me. And that’s exactly why Nov Patisserie came to life in 2023. I started it within my friend zones, and decided to expand it outside the school and to the world in 2024.
This bakery isn’t just a place to bring you delicious desserts; it’s a space where we aim to foster connection. Whether it’s a connection with yourself or with the people around you, I hope Nov Patisserie would always be a bridge—just like baking has been for me and my friends.
Thank you so much for being here and be a part of our journey. I hope Nov Patisserie would be one of your favorite spots—a place where you feel warmth, joy, and connection in every bite.
With lots of love,
Ngo Minh Chau - Founder of Nov Patisserie
